PRINT EXCHANGE 2021
From its inception, the 9INHANDPRESS Print Exchange has sought to engage printmakers from around the world in the sharing and propagtion of the democratic processes of printmaking. The exchange has grown leaps and bounds from our first exchange just six years ago; the diversity of print techniques, the global reach, and the sheer number of printmakers--students, novice, emerging and established artists--has exceeded expectations! And we’re still growing. Upcoming exhibitions for this year’s portfolio will expose the works to new audiences, the showing of the works will display the ever-evolving techniques of print and the unique perspectives of all 119 artists--and add to the growing support of this exchange by nearly 425 artists in six years!
Of course, this year’s exchange would be nothing without your participation. You’ve engaged your students, your print shops, your print communities and your personal practices to be a part of this portfolio--all in the face of a global pandemic, COVID-19!
